Kate Garraway got another ribbing about her rumoured appearance on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

The presenter is apparently set to go in the jungle next month, and is yet to confirm or deny she’s a camp mate.

Her Good Morning Britain colleagues couldn’t resist making a dig about on Thursday’s episode during a segment about the 90s TV show Gladiators.

On the show Kate and co-hosts Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid were all given their own Gladiator nicknames in a remake of the show’s theme tune.

While Susanna was dubbed ‘Angel’ and Ben got ‘Stamina’ (ahem), Kate was given the nickname ‘Jungle’ in reference to her supposed upcoming stint on I’m A Celebrity this year.

The presenters laughed at the joke but once again, Kate didn’t exactly dismiss it.

It comes after Ben previously teased the host about I’m A Celeb, saying: ‘I can’t wait for you to go away for a month.’

Kate laughed: ‘I can neither confirm nor deny.’

The TV star is thought to have pulled out of the show last year due to her hectic schedule.

Back in March, Kate revealed how her two children Darcey, 13, and William, 10, were desperate to see her become a campmate.

She said: ‘I think it’s completely terrifying but it’s also a brilliant show to watch, so I don’t know.

‘My kids would love me to do it, I don’t know what that says.’

The reporter added: ‘People keep saying I’d be good in there and basically what that means is you want to see me tortured.

‘Like really close friends say, “Oh you’d be amazing, I really want you to do it.” And it’s like, “What have I done to you?”’

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! returns 17 November on ITV.
